I live in California and for one wouldn't mind watching the red states crash and burn with their garbage economy. its funny watching idiots from those states whine and cry about socialism and subsidies while their states are main beneficiaries of the federal government. let see how they survive without states like California, New York, or New Jersey paying for their roads and public services.
I agrree, although slpitting countries is never a good idea. it tends to cause wars.
That's such bs, california is in major financial problems, and the fall of the housing market and the banks needing bailed out was all because of the blue, with carter and clinton pushing the banks to give out loans to people who couldn't afford them, which eventually led to all the foreclosures and the banks taking hits left and right from that, of course the evil george bush tried to fix that but the democrats voted it down. Healthcare is so expensive because of the massive abuse and usage of government systems such as medicaid/medicare which reimburse something like 30% causing healthcare facilities to take a hit causing prices to go up, another democrat idea. now tell me who's economy this is. The fact is we shouldn't be paying nearly as much taxes to the federal government, that is not what it is for. We should be paying more to the states, less to federal, and what has happened is since we pay so much more to the federal government they then hold that over the states heads influencing how a state runs, which is unconstitutional, and takes away from the individuals rights. How would the blue states survive without the red states supporting them?
I'm from California too (originally Florida for 22 years) and I would like to see the same thing. I'm sick of the red states, they are nothing in the big scheme of things.
As far as California being bankrupt, thats irrelevant because we are in a recession now so the most powerful states that made this country great, the ones that rode high for so long, are the ones who will hurt the most during hard times. The red states are nothing, and when California gets hit bad by a recession, they feel the ripples. when California's shining, they feel the rays. Because places like Cali and NY are important. Places like Kentucky and Alabama are not. California always bounces back, and the red states then cling to their coat tails to pull themselves up too.
I think we should sell California to the Chinese, to solve our defecit….california is a leach…they have the largest economy, larger than germany, all the natural resources and still cannot manage. They are kooks and queers and i would rather import from them than have interstate commerce. let Pelosi be their president, as California deserves it.
Think about the huge industry their….electronics, wine, crops, hollywood, natural resources, and yet still cant make it….something wrong with this picture….dont you agree? so, sell it for cash, balance the books on the rest of the country…and end this dribble.
