I know you can get 10 mg valium like 120 a month.
I believe 3 mg xanax is the strongest xanax. could someone prescribe 120 xanax a month that are 3 mg?
This is a DEA Schedule IV drug, and if administered within a hospital or under the care of a licensed medical professional, then a prescribing physician can administer as much as they deem necessary, however, typically, if you start getting up to the max dose regimen, then he/she would most likely move to another drug, as either the patient is not responding well or at all to this Benzo, or possibly has been on this particular Benzo so long that tolerance has been built up to a point where you can no longer titrate the dose upwards. Sometimes there are people who do not respond to any compound in the Benzo class, such as Alprazalem, Diazapem, Halcion, Versed, etc. and therefore have to be tried on a different class of drugs all together.
If this is a patient that is being treated by a GP or as an outpatient, then most doctors will stay within the bounds of the dosing guidelines as listed in the drug facts information. There are too many variables to consider when trying to give a patient more than the max dose when they will be under no monitoring…liver issues, Cardiovascular issues, respiratory issues, etc.
I doubt you will get anyone to allot you more than 120-180 per month as an outpatient.
I think the strongest is 2 milligrams. I went to a pain management clinic and the prescribed me 12 milligrams a day.LOL Thats enough to kill a small dog.
What is the maxiumum amount of 3 mg xanax a doctor can prescibe a month to someone?
