Do I Need Technical Experience to Copy Wii Games?

For a long time I believed that copying games required a high level of expertise, and a lot of research. This was the case for a while, since you had to investigate yourself on finding software on the internet that would allow you to do this. but now with the introduction of various software applications. the whole process to copy Wii games can be performed with ease and in a number of very simple steps.

For both beginners and intermediates in the game copy world, can now simply the whole process by using software to copy games. In the past you needed a high level of technical knowledge to copy games. You had to do your own research on the right software. You had to find out yourself what DVD drive would be best to burn the discs. You had discover which blank discs worked well for the best quality of backups.

Many of this was done by trial and error. Costing both time and money. however now there is a wealth of information available online. Sometimes all in one place, and it will allow you to copy games simply and quickly.

This software can bypass the built in copyright protection, allowing users to create backups of Wii games. Before you needed to discover the right software to do this. By downloading various applications, installing them on your computer and trying different ones.

With the amount of viruses and trojans running loose on the internet, it is a big risk trying to find this software yourself. Luckily I have state of the art anti-virus installed on my computer. I downloaded and tried a few of these so called free applications. Some of the were same packed with dodgy files and there was no chance I was going to risk my PC. therefore I suggest trying the safer and more reliable software.

The correct software can guide you through the whole process to copy Wii games with ease. Some even provide tutorials, given you a step by step guide to backing up & burning games. the right software will have a built in Wizard, or a good interface that will walk you through the steps. so don’t worry you don’t have to guess which buttons to press, have no idea what order to do stuff in and end up with rubbish quality duplicates of your games.

Good quality blank DVD’s can also be more expensive than regular ones. therefore I would suggest getting software that can guide you, so you don’t risk wasting many of these trying to figure how to copy Wii games yourself.

Why the PS3 Can Save You Money – 3 Tips for Putting Cash Back in Your Pocket

I don’t know about you, but when you’re as obsessed with gaming (and in particular PS3) as I am, you quickly start to learn that it’s not the cheapest hobby in the world. That coupled with my movie obsession had me almost broke.

I was always buying games I’m sure I’d like, only to find out that I didn’t really enjoy them. I’d also spend tons on DVD rental a month – it all added up.

In fact I can’t remember how much I’ve spent on purchasing games and DVDs over the years – a small fortune, probably. That’s why I’ve come up with 3 money-saving tips I’d like to share, which I learned about the hard way.

Rent games instead of buying them – It took me a good while to discover that this was even possible. I wished I’d found out about this earlier than I did. there are a variety of services out there on the net where you can rent games, often with a free trial period. this is a great way for auditioning games before you buy. I have a plethora of abandoned games which I’ve either had to sell on or are just gathering dust on my shelf. Renting games means you know which games tickle your fancy before you buy.

Use your PS3 as a Blu-ray player – instead of going out and buying an expensive stand-alone Blu-ray player to play your Blu-ray discs you can use your trusty PS3. this could possibly save you at least 400

Save on DVD, Blu-ray Purchases and even Cinema Tickets – Usually if you want to watch a film you have to buy the DVD or Blu-ray or stream the movie to your computer on a small screen. but you can now stream movies to PS3 and enjoy the full cinematic experience on your own full-sized television screen. No need to buy an expensive TV with movie streaming facilities or visit the cinema to see your latest flick either.

There are plenty of online services out there on the web for renting games and movies, but many aren’t necessarily geared towards the PS3 user or make full use of the PS3 movie streaming facilities. Some of the services out there presently are Blockbuster, Netfix, Cinema Paradiso, and of course good old iTunes. not all of which cater to the whims of us PS3 users. one service that I have recently found that ticked all the right boxes for me as a PS3 obsessive is Lovefilm.

Luck finds life at Stanford too good to pass up for NFL

PALO ALTO, Calif. – In the gloaming at the end of a perfect fall day, halfway through a thus far perfect season, everything comes into perfect focus. Andrew Luck’s jaw-dropping decision to eschew the NFL’s mercenary millions to linger for another year as the big man on campus seems a no-brainer.

Luck likes his teammates and coaches. he likes his classes. he likes his surroundings. And he likes winning.

Heaven can wait? No, heaven is now. Money can’t buy this kind of happiness.

“It’s a special place,” Luck said of Stanford, a long-standing oasis of academia that also hasn’t suffered a football defeat in more than a year. “I’m having fun because we’re winning. If we weren’t … maybe not. (But) we weren’t supposed to win when I got here so it’s gratifying to prove people wrong.

“Just finishing up academically, that was important to me. I always thought in the back of my mind I’d go to college for four years and that was sort of how it was going to be, no matter what. also, we had a great group of guys in (our) recruiting class, guys from all over (the country). I wanted to spend another year with them to see how far we could take the program.”

Pretty far, so far. The Cardinal, 6-0 and ranked seventh, have won 14 in a row, a school record and the longest FBS streak in the country. they seek No. 15 on Saturday against 22nd-ranked Washington (5-1), the first significant test for Luck and his teammates this season.

To date, the odds-on Heisman Trophy favorite has largely operated as if on cruise control, making all the right decisions as he picks apart overmatched defenses. Stanford has won its last nine games by more than 25 points and some swear Luck hadn’t thrown a “legitimate” interception in 2011 until he went long to Jamal-Rashad Patterson on the second play from scrimmage last weekend against Washington State.

It resulted in only his third pick, the previous two had first ricocheted off his receivers’ hands. And, regarding the pass to Patterson, Stanford coach David Shaw said, “The defensive back wanted it more than we did.”

But Luck, who has routinely set standards for self-effacement going back to his days of being a man among boys at Stratford High School, countered: “It was underthrown. … They’re all legitimate interceptions if they end up in the wrong guy’s hands. They’re all on me.”

Stanford struggled for the first 30 minutes against Washington State, and Luck later blamed “all the little mistakes, on my part especially” for a skimpy three-point lead. but the Cardinal owned the second half 38-7 and Luck ultimately threw for four touchdowns, giving him 18 on the season.

Then there are his red-zone numbers. Thirty-one penetrations have produced 13 rushing touchdowns, 12 passing touchdowns and six field goals. Do the math and that’s 31-for-31. so much for his letting the pressure of his marked-man high profile get to him. so much for assuming he couldn’t play any better than he did last season, when the only team to get the best of him was national runner-up Oregon.

“The day you stop improving or trying to improve is the day to hang it up,” Luck said. “I think I understand our offense a lot better. I understand why the plays are called for certain coverages and how to better manage a play to put the defense in a bad spot.”

And so much for the conjecture he couldn’t help but be distracted by the NFL standings, lapsing into daydreams about what’s next. If he’s churning inside or in any way distracted, he won’t admit it, and it doesn’t show.

“I think it would be a disservice to the team, to the university and to my teammates,” Luck said, “to put my mind anywhere else.”

Asked about the burgeoning “Suck for Luck” fan campaigns in cities such as Miami, Indianapolis and St. Louis, where the local NFL teams remain winless, he laughed.

“I think it’s a little stupid, to be honest,” he said. “When I heard about it, I was hoping it was just a joke.”

He’s heard about it a lot in the Cardinal’s locker room.

“When you’re surrounded by a bunch of guys who you’re close with,” he said, “any time you get on a high horse they bring you down pretty quickly.”

Up close, he’s easily recognized as Oliver Luck’s boy. but this is no like-father-like-son story. The onetime Oilers quarterback, Houston Sports Authority boss, Dynamo president and current University of West Virginia athletic director was talented enough to be drafted in the second round and play at the NFL level. but Andrew is on a whole different level as a prospect.

As a person, though, the proverbial acorn didn’t fall far from the oak.

“He’s very much a reflection of his parents, and that’s the highest possible compliment,” said Stanford sports information director Jim Young, who runs interference for Luck on a daily basis. “As high in demand as he has been, I’ve tried to balance his schedule, reflecting his wishes to be a student-athlete. He’s tremendous to work with, just a delightful young man.”

Thomas Sowell: ‘Spreading wealth’ only spreads poverty

Random thoughts on the passing scene:

Like so many people, in so many countries, who started out to “spread the wealth,” Barack Obama has ended up spreading poverty.

Have you ever heard anyone as incoherent as the people staging protests across the country? Taxpayers ought to be protesting against having their money spent to educate people who end up unable to say anything beyond repeating political catchphrases.

It is hard to understand politics if you are hung up on reality. Politicians leave reality to others. What matters in politics is what you can get the voters to believe, whether it bears any resemblance to reality or not.

I hate getting bills that show a zero balance. if I don’t owe anything, why bother me with a bill? there is too much junk mail already.

Radical feminists seem to assume that men are hostile to women. but what would they say to the fact that most of the women on the Titanic were saved, and most of the men perished — due to rules written by men and enforced by men on the sinking ship?

If he were debating Barack Obama, Newt Gingrich could chew him up and spit him out.

Whether the particular issue is housing, medical care or anything in between, the agenda of the left is to take the decision out of the hands of those directly involved and transfer that decision to third parties, who pay no price for making decisions that turn out to be counterproductive.

It is truly the era of the New Math when a couple making $125,000 a year each are taxed at rates that are said to apply to “millionaires and billionaires.”

On many issues, the strongest argument of the left is that there is no argument. this has been the left’s party line on the issue of man-made global warming and the calamities they claim will follow. but there are many scientists — some with Nobel Prizes — who have repudiated the global warming hysteria.

With professional athletes earning megabucks incomes, it is a farce to punish their violations of rules with fines. when Serena Williams was fined $2,000 for misconduct during a tennis match, that was like fining you or me a nickel or a dime. Suspensions are something that even the highest-paid athletes can feel.

Most of us may lament the fact that so many more people are today dependent on food stamps and other government subsidies. but dependency usually translates into votes for whoever is handing out the benefits, so an economic disaster can be a political bonanza, as it was for Franklin D. Roosevelt. Don’t count Obama out in 2012.

Politicians can solve almost any problem — usually by creating a bigger problem. but, so long as the voters are aware of the problem that the politicians have solved, and unaware of the bigger problems they have created, political “solutions” are a political success.

Do people who advocate special government programs for blacks realize that the federal government has had special programs for American Indians, including affirmative action, since the early 19th century — and that American Indians remain one of the few groups worse off than blacks?

I hope the people who are challenging Obamacare in the Supreme Court point out that the equal application of the laws, mandated by the 14th Amendment to the Constitution, is violated when the president can arbitrarily grant hundreds of waivers to the Obamacare law to his political favorites, while everyone else has to follow its costly provisions.

People who live within their means are increasingly being forced to pay for people who didn’t live within their means — whether individual homebuyers here or whole nations in Europe.

Regardless of how the current Republican presidential nomination process ends, I hope that they will never again have these televised “debates” among a crowd of candidates, which just turn into a circular firing squad — damaging whoever ends up with the nomination, and leaving the voters knowing only who is quickest with glib answers.

Have you noticed that we no longer seem to be hearing the old familiar argument that illegal aliens are just taking jobs that Americans won’t do?

The Muppets: The Green Album CD Review

Music and Muppets go hand in hand and if one song from Kermit can reduce grown men to tears then as the new Muppet movie nears our cinemas it’s time for some of the popular tracks from the Muppets’ previous movies and episodes to get the cover treatment with the Green Album.

There are some old favourites among the new tracks with OK Go’s rendition of the Muppet Theme getting the whole shebang off to an unconventional start, proving a divisive version of the classic tune. Alkaline Trio’s Movin’ Right along is a jaunty punk cover of the Fozzie/Kermit duet from the Muppet Movie and it demands a replay or two and will end up in your head but leave it to the Fray to cover the infamous Mahna-Mahna which is likely clamped to your subconscious already. It works as a track, though it’s not exactly one to listen to again and again and I’d rather have the band take on another track here as there’s not a lot you can do with the song.

The clear tuneful voice of My Morning Jacket’s Jim James updates Paul Williams’ Our World giving Alice Otter a run for her money, though it’s not a highlight it does capture the simple, rather than simplistic, beauty of Williams’ work. Amy Lee’s rendition of Robin the Frog’s Halfway Down the Stairs complicates the song a little too much and it loses its charm, making it an obvious one to skip. Norwegian singer Sondre Lerche’s vocal quirks are put to good use on mr. Bassman and the Airborne Toxic Event’s cover of Gono’s Wishing Song could have used a little more Madeline Kahn, but then so could most things, but I enjoyed their spin on the song greatly.

Andrew Bird’s take on Kermit’s celebrated Bein’ Green is a joy, and an album highlight with its uncomplicated accompaniment and Bird’s vocals and whistles imbuing the song with the necessary surreal melancholic air. the Muppet Movie’s duet with two of Jim Henson’s characters (Kermit and Rowf), I Hope That something Better comes along is great fun with its cute lyrics and lone piano from Matt Nathanson and it’s the first track I went back to when I was done with the album. Gonzo’s spacey I’m going to go Back there someday is given a breathy polish from Rachael Yamagata whose curious voice gives the song a wayward, alien sound which is entirely appropriate.

There are some gems here, though the slower tracks resonated with me more the attempts to crank up some of the songs, which do almost universally fall flat but it’s a must for Muppet fans, and worth delving into for the odd gem. Now then, where’s the new movie, eh?

Rays Rip Rangers in Game 1: How Much Money Did CJ Wilson Cost Himself?

After their miraculous September, the Tampa Bay Rays pounded C.J. Wilson and the Texas Rangers in Arlington this evening to kick off the postseason.  the Rangers’ ace was outclassed by a fellow southpaw making just his second career big league start.

Matt Moore allowed just two hits over seven innings, while Wilson gave up eight runs (six earned) in five innings.  if the Rays keep playing like they did tonight, this may have been Wilson’s final start before his free agency this offseason.  not really the best way to go out.

Let’s think about the teams that will probably be courting C.J. Wilson.  the Yankees, because their rotation isn’t very deep.  the Red Sox will be looking to bounce back from their collapse and their starting pitching was flat out awful in September.

But one thing that has to be considered is this:  does Wilson want to play for a big market team? being in the spotlight isn’t for everybody, and he’s spent his entire career in Texas.  And he surely can make plenty of money by re-signing or going somewhere like St. Louis or Detroit.

What do all the teams I mentioned have in common?  They’re playoff teams.  their goal every season is to win a World Series.  when investing in a top-flight starting pitcher, teams want to know that the success will carry over to the postseason.  Statistically, Wilson had a great season.  He’s been great since he became a starter two seasons ago.

But does he perform when it matters the most?  Last season was his first taste of the postseason.  In four starts, he went 1-2 with a 3.70 ERA.  not bad, but he did lose his one start in the World Series.

Last season, Cliff Lee was the ace of the staff; things are different for the Rangers this time.  C.J. Wilson is the guy.  Game 1 is so important in setting the tone for the entire series, especially in a short five-game division series.

It’s an ace’s job to win Game 1 and give his team the advantage.  Wilson failed to do that today, and now the Rangers are in a big hole.  His fastball didn’t have the life that it usually does and his pitches were very hittable.  I understand that bad games happen, but the best pitchers are able to prevent them from happening in October.

Lets be realistic.  even with this outing, C.J. Wilson will be one of the most sought after free-agent pitchers.  He’ll cash in this offseason—probably to the tune of $90 million.  but I’m sure he’s hoping to get a chance to redeem himself this postseason.

Strategy Session: Latest Gadgets Don’t Help without a Plan

RISMEDIA, August 4, 2011—Wouldn’t it be terrific if the latest gadget would actually make you more money with less effort? And wouldn’t it be even better if you could get all the money back you’ve already spent on products that still sit unwrapped in their original packaging under your desk right now?

You are not alone! Everybody wants the latest silver bullet. And every day there seems to be a newer better, whiter, brighter, quicker, and way-more-cool tool than the one you just bought that guarantees you will make more money…or will you?

Technology is a great tool, but just like that treadmill in your den, it won’t get you any results unless you actually use it with a plan and strategy in mind.

Tech platforms help us to offer that critical 24/7 real time information and automation that supports customer services. many of these tools are “must have” investments, and others maybe not so much. but in any case, the objective is to incorporate those tools that can help you be a better service provider and provide a better customer experience for your investment.

Instead of looking at what we want in technology, let’s switch gears and ask this question instead, “What tools and services would best serve my customer’s needs?” this will help you narrow down the choices and give you a competitive edge by delivering the types of services your customers really want.

Here are a few guidelines to help you in the selection process:

• have a strategy and an outcome for investing in a new tech tool. Whatever you choose to use, the rule is it must save you both time and money, make you more efficient and actually help you deliver a higher level of service to your prospects and customers.

• do some research before buying. just because it’s the latest, hottest thing on the market, doesn’t mean it is the right one for your business. do a little search and get some consumer reviews. Check the blogs for positive or negative feedback to get the scoop on the good, the bad and the “you should have saved your money” advantage.

• decide on the must haves. You must have certain types of equipment and tools, but think about investing in those that can multi-task and serve multiple purposes. as an example, you simply must have a phone. Investing in a smartphone that accommodates multiple apps will help you to provide real time, on the spot information should you be working with a buyer or seller. with data at your fingertips, you are sure to improve your service model and raise your expertise level by simply using a phone that works multiple ways for you.

• Old time faxes are out, scanners are in, and printing is still required. Invest in one piece of equipment that provides multiple services, like a printer that will perform wireless scanning, faxing and can print both in color and black and white. My personal favorite is my Kodak ESP Office 6150. Easy to use, wireless access from anywhere in my home office, it prints and scans effortlessly…and replacement cartridges are under $30.

• do you specialize in those paper-laden transactions like short sales and foreclosures? recent banking legislation mandates that many banks require scanning instead of faxing for the transference of financial documents. Check out the power of the Kodak i1120 scanner. this small but mighty scanner gets my vote. Easy-to-use, smart-touch scanning sends scanned documents to any of nine “scan-to” destinations, including e-mail, print, file, or desktop apps in a variety of formats, even accommodating legal sized documents. The best part of scanning is staying organized with less clutter, minimal paper files and easy “click to find” options.

• In a world where the consumer wants global access to information 24/7, smart agents know to add multiple options to their marketing materials. Virtual tours are still great options for showcasing a property, but think multiple options. there are now great tours available that offers an interface with Facebook, provide selection interaction and participation with the viewer, and can automatically generate a QR code on any downloadable brochure. QR codes may be new, but having the service included in the automation saves you time and money, while serving the customers preferences.

• Prospecting systems are critical to developing new business. You must incorporate some automated prospecting systems for specific marketing verticals. If you prospect expired listings, for-sale-by-owners or short sales, look into several of the online reporting and CRM systems available. Sign up for a trial and take advantage of that free time to actually use the system before you buy. sometimes the system looks great, but turns out to be too clumsy to use in real life, or takes a huge learning curve before it can become useful to your business. Automated systems are the key to attracting, engaging and servicing new business leads while you are busy doing other business activities.

• consider using an iPad to ramp up your presentations. Present a paperless CMA at your next listing appointment. Today’s consumers want participation and interaction. Pulling real-time data with them is the perfect solution. iPads allow multiple applications especially when working with buyers, so making an iPad investment might be the right tool for creating a better buyer and seller experience.

If you don’t have a plan or strategy to really use a tool or system, don’t buy it. It’s time to “get good or get gone.” Invest in only those technology products that will make you money, save you time and do a great job to serve your customers.

Occupy Till I Come

Luke 19:13 And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, Occupy till I come.

Other translations say; do business – till I come.

In other words engage in trade with what you have been given. Take what you have and put it to work. Stay busy with what I have given to you. make this money grow. If you are in business and you are not growing you have become stagnant. It’s no different with the church. If we aren’t going foreword, then we’ve become stagnant. you can’t be both.

The Greek word used for occupy is pragmateuomai from GSN4229; to busy oneself with, i.e. to trade:

W.E. Vines says occupy – to walk, is sometimes used of the state in which one is living, or of that to which a person is given,

When you look at the modern church, you see it is busy as a whole, but are they accomplishing what God has given to them? is the church occupying, or is it just setting on its laurels of past glories and waiting for the Lord to return. is this what He called us to do? is this what will hasten his return? Jesus said this to the church:

Revelation 3:16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of My mouth.

The lord loves us more than we can fathom. I know he didn’t say this to create fear, but as an admonition. in the last days, many will fall away from the faith. Satan knows his time is short, and he’s out doing everything he can to sabotage the faith of the saints.

Matthew 24:10 And then many will be offended, will betray one another, and will hate one another. 11. Then many false prophets will rise up and deceive many. 12. And because lawlessness will abound, the love of many will grow cold.

He also went on to say in vs. 24. For false christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders, so as to deceive, if possible, even the elect.
We’re in the last days, but we are also in the greatest time to be alive since the beginning of creation. no one knows the exact time of his coming, but we certainly could be a part of the generation that ushers in his return. Shouldn’t we be about the Lords business?

We are the ones called to such a time as this Step out and take your God given place in his kingdom. Don’t be afraid. Romans 8:31 what then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us? He wants us to accomplish certain things while we are here on the Earth but he also is one hundred percent behind us, supporting us all the way.

There will be a day when many will look back with regrets and say I could have done so much more. God gave me all these abilities and talents and anointing, what do I have to show for all of that? I don’t want to be one of those do you? I have regrets in my life and Satan has tried to hold things over my head. however, I’ve learned to not look back at my mess ups, but rather to look ahead at what I can still accomplish. I have been forgiven and I will go on once again I will say, if God is for me who can be against me I will say even as the Apostle Paul:

Philippians 3:13 Brethren, I do not count myself to have apprehended; but one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind and reaching forward to those things which are ahead, 14. I press toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.
15. Therefore let us, as many as are mature, have this mind; and if in anything you think otherwise, God will reveal even this to you.

Regret can be a powerful tool of the enemy. He loves to beat God’s elect over the head with what they haven’t done, and remind them of their past mistakes. He knows that if he can keep them in a state of remembrance of their past failures, he won’t have to worry about them in his future. This can become a great stumbling block in a Christians life, and many have stalled out, unable at least in their own mind to go forward because of it.

For those of you have been there and know what I am talking about, I want to encourage you. I know what it is like to be so down because of my past that I could not go foreword. the Lord is so awesome; He has not forgotten his promises to us. when we repent and turn back to Him, He is always there to take us back, and restore lost fellowship. I was in this very place at one time in my life. I had received forgiveness for my mess ups but really thought that I couldn’t go further with my calling. the enemy was right there on my shoulder reminding me of my failures. one day as I was out in my back yard just playing around with my bonsai’s and quietly singing and worshiping the Lord, He spoke to me so sweetly, and told me this. I have called you before the foundation of the world. Along with the words came the revelation, He will not go back on his word to us. Whom He has called He has called, and that’s that. He absolutely will not go back on his promises. Let us as Christians receive this great grace and go forward into the future with this holy hope and expectation.

Ephesians 1:4 just as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, that we should be holy and without blame before Him in love,

1 Peter 1:20 He indeed was foreordained before the foundation of the world, but was manifest in these last times for you

Although I knew this was in the Bible, it was certainly not personal to me up until that time. these words restored me and empowered me as nothing else could possibly have done. these words were spoken not only for my sake, but as a reminder for any believer who has lost their way on the journey, and for all of those who are questioning their calling and have lost their ability to go forward. He has not forgotten you, and is here to empower you by the Holy Spirit to go forward in his preordained calling and purpose. we have a purpose, and its time to put the past behind us and go forward. He is truly an ever-present help in a time of need.

Romans 11:29 For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable.

He won’t go back on his promises ever. it can not happen. Reach out with me for the upward call of God in Christ Jesus.

I shared this to help any that could not go forward. we can’t be occupiers of the land if we are stalled out in the present because of our past, can we? Take this attitude with me, I will go forward and fulfill my God given destiny. God is for me, who can be against me? with this attitude, we will walk in the victory that has surely been won for us.

My question is this, is the church really occupying or are we just doing business as usual.
There are great revivals in the world with hundreds of thousands and even millions giving their lives to Jesus Christ, but are we really occupying? I realize this is not a simple problem but one that will take the concentrated efforts of Christians across the board. How can we as Christians step across our own man made lines and start acting as the body of Christ as a whole and not just a lot of parts? the barriers have to come down, how can we occupy if we can not even come to agreement within ourselves. Jesus said a kingdom divided against itself can not stand.

I believe we as believers have certainly inhabited the land but have not truly occupied it. To occupy is to fully influence every aspect of society as we know it, spiritually, as well as socially and economically. Society should see a dramatic change. This kind of change doesn’t just effect a generation but effects future generations as well. when the Apostles first preached, people weren’t just born again but every aspect of society and culture was changed. If you change a culture you change the very fabric of the society that they live in. This kind of change can have long lasting effects, not just temporary ones.

Are we as the body of Christ thinking too small? we often think in terms of getting people into the kingdom and leave it at that. Jesus said as part of the great commission to make disciples of all nations, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you. (Matthew 28:19-20.)

How can we disciple nations. By positively changing them from the inside out. Other religions have a systematic plan for doing just that. however, Christianity hasn’t been doing that to the same degree.

All Christians are not called into the 5-fold ministry, but many are called to be bankers, teachers, lawyers, judges, politicians, and so on. Christians should be at the top and scattered throughout every area of society if they are truly walking in their giftings. There is an anointing that goes along with that calling. the God given abilities along with the anointing that is upon God’s chosen people in every area of society can influence that society in such a way as to give Godly direction and influence. To try to change the direction of a society without a Godly change from within will only lead to rebellion within the very society you are trying to influence. you can not have permanent change by trying to force laws down peoples throats without also teaching Godly principles along with them. And as well in so doing, changing the top areas within that society, and creating a society where a Christian revival will not only happen, but will grow and leave long lasting sustained influence and change within that nation. This kind of sustained change will endure into the future, and I believe will be the catalyst that ushers in the Second Coming of the Lord Jesus Christ instead of setting on our spiritual backsides and waiting for the Lord to return, lets hasten his return. Lets fill our lamps with oil and go take the land.

Many feel that they are not really contributing if they are not a preacher or minister. If God has called you to be a businessperson, politician, banker, teacher etc. then know that there is no more important thing you can be doing. we all have our God given place and it will take all of us working together in every phase of society to bring about the kind of permanent change that can transform a nation.

We need Christians occupying within every area of society. I want to personally challenge you to find your God given place, and let’s do this together Amen.

Do you know Jesus as your Lord and Savior? do you want to be a joint heir with Christ?
If so, I urge you to earnestly pray the following prayer.

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you in the name of Jesus. your word says, .and the one who comes to Me I will by no means cast out. (Jn.6:37),

So I know you won’t cast me out, but you take me in, And I thank you for it. you said in your Word, whoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.” (Ro. 10:13).

I am calling on your name, So I know you have saved me now, you also said, .that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes to righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made to salvation. (Ro.10:9,10).

I believe in my heart that Jesus Christ is the Son of God. I believe He was raised from the dead for my justification. And I confess Him now as my Lord, Because your Word says, . with the heart one believes to righteousness. and I do believe with my heart, I have now become the righteousness of God in Christ. (2 Cor. 5:21),

And I am saved thank you, Lord
I can now truthfully say, I see myself as a born again child of God Glory to God Amen.

NCAA Conference Realignment: Why College Basketball Is Getting a Raw Deal

Whether you believe that conference realignment in college basketball will be a good thing or not is irrelevant. College football is driving the bus and basketball is its passenger.

I hate it.

As a fan of basketball, the college variety gives me the best opportunity to see the team game at its finest. the NBA is great, but most of the time, we are forced to watch 82 games of one-on-one basketball, little defense and games that really don’t matter until the fourth quarter.

College basketball is getting a facelift and not many people are talking about it. Pittsburgh and Syracuse leaving the big East Conference is a huge deal in basketball. the Orange are the founding fathers of the big East; they are the definition of the conference.

As a whole, basketball is the one getting the raw deal because of money for football. Who cares though? It doesn’t seem like many do.

How about a team like Pittsburgh who will need to recruit a different style of players to compete in an up-and-down pace of ACC basketball? this team is known for not recruiting McDonald’s All-Americans. they have recruited two in the past three years (Dante Taylor and Khem Birch) but that isn’t their forte. Will they be able to continue their recruiting strategy?

Will their pipeline that is centered on playing at Madison Square Garden be in jeopardy? Will Jamie Dixon, a lover of the big East Conference, eventually walk because of the decision?

All are questions that many teams will face if and when they change conferences.

Andy Lyons/Getty Images

Are we talking about that though? no, we are talking about the football side of things, of course. Football drives this country. we all love the game, but there are college basketball nuts that are disturbed by what is going on.

Change happens all the time in sports. You wouldn’t believe some of the divisions certain teams were in 30 years ago. we may forget about this realignment in 10 years, but I think this will be remembered for a long time.

Parents or grandparents who love sports may speak to you about how much better something was in the past. Maybe they speak about divisions or rivalries that we never saw before. Now it is our turn, it is our generation that will be able to speak about how physical and great the big East Conference was in basketball.

As disturbing as it feels now, hopefully this will all result in an easy transition for college basketball.

If you are thinking about leasing then here is some guidance for selling your old Chrysler

If you are thinking about leasing then here is some guidance for selling your old Chrysler

Selling your old car can be stressful, particular if you are not familiar with the car market and this can be made worse if you are worried that you may lose money. What I mean is, how do you get your Chrysler valued and where should you advertise?

Now some of the big problems have been identified, leasecar.co.uk have created a list to walk you through some of the best ways to sell your car and simultaneously make a bit of extra dough.

1) Firstly, you need to use the internet. in the 1990′s you may have had to put up an advert in the window of your car or put an advert in the paper but nowadays that is just a way to lose some of your cash. those techniques may have worked back then but nowadays the internet is the key resource to find people and it can even create a platform for people to bid on your Chrysler.

2) the internet can also be used as a way to find someone on the lookout for a car from anywhere. you won’t be restricted but instead you will find that it is a piece of cake to find a buyer, whether they live in the south or the north of the country.

3) When selling with a Chrysler dealer, you need to check the small print otherwise you might have to pay additional charges. If you look at a website then in most cases there is usually a standard fee with additional options available for adding a pic, so make sure you are aware of these before you sign up.

4) Make sure that you thoroughly clean your Chrysler before showing it to a potential buyer. you want a potential buyer to see the car at its very best, therefore you might find that it is beneficial to hire cleaners to totally clean your vehicle. This should be an intense and thorough process and should cover both the interior and exterior of the vehicle.

5) you may want to buy a few gadgets or accessories to tempt a buyer? A recently bought MP3 player or even a DVD system should really make drivers interested in your Chrysler and get them to see the positives of owning your old vehicle.

Hopefully by following this advice, during your search for a new car, the sale of your old Chrysler will be trouble-free. you can then go on to lease a new vehicle, perhaps even take out a new Chrysler leasing deal from leasecar.co.uk and still have some money left over to buy yourself a treat.

6) However, if your car is a bit of a banger then there are other options available. This is the case as you could still make some cash from vehicle dealers or even scrap metal dealers.

- Car dealers or mechanics: in a lot of cases mechanics with their own garage, are interested in viewing old vehicles. Some of the time they buy this type of car for a small amount then ship in the parts to do repairs and then sell them off to their customers higher than the purchase price.

- Scrap Car Dealers: These are always looking to buy scrap metal so why not give them a call. They will book a time to come to your house, check your vehicle and then will make you an offer. you then receive the cash once they come to your property and remove your old car.

Spending debate

Matthew Rothchild, Robbinsdale, Minn.

In the recent months of watching current events, I can’t help but notice the way economic/financial issues have become the front and center concern in everyone’s minds. With that emphasis has come the inevitable debate over how to solve the problems presently plaguing us in that realm. My observations thus far tell me that we may never reach a solution; the discussion always seems, with few exceptions, to proceed thusly:

“The government is spending more than it takes in! We must cut spending!”

“You cannot do that! You’re simply balancing the budget on the backs of those who depend on government spending! Tax the rich instead; they can afford it and are hoarding money anyway. We could afford this spending if they’d pay their fair share! It’s the least they can do to help maintain the society that allowed them to achieve so much!”

“Raise taxes on job creators? I’ll not hear of it! Doing this will make them hire fewer people, not more!”

“But their taxes are the lowest they’ve been since (varies, insert long ago era here). If lower taxes create more jobs, then there should be no unemployment!”

And so goes the superficial debate in all of its vain, vapid, logic-free banality. it lacks anything resembling real analysis and smacks of the non-thinking pushed by various pre-approved talking heads and “opinionmakers.” Surprisingly enough, real answers to refute all of this are very easy to come by. Let’s rationally walk through these arguments step by step.

All right, so if tax cuts create jobs, there should be no lack of jobs, right?

Well, maybe. one must remember that during the same time period, the dollar has been dramatically devalued. Add to that the hidden costs manifested by an increasingly heavy regulatory burden and the tax savings that supposedly produce jobs are, at least to some extent, wiped out.

But if we discuss job creation, we should also remember that there’s more to it than the wealthy. Without demand for goods and services-demand that comes from everyone, not just the wealthy-there are no jobs either. Artificially increasing prices-whether by levying heavier taxes or by inflation created by loose monetary policy used to pay for expanded government spending, all of which are passed on to consumers-doesn’t create demand, but depresses it.

So what about “selfish” people who hoard money?

To that, I ask the following: If you were to save up your money, is it within your rights to do so? If it is, why is it not within the rights of others to do likewise? I’ve already established that demand from everyone is responsible for economic growth. Doesn’t that mean anyone who saves their money is a “selfish hoarder”?

Furthermore, is anybody really hoarding money? many reports already tell us that Americans, regardless of economic background, are using their money not to buy things, but to clean up their balance sheets and pay off the spectacular debts they’ve accumulated over the past two decades. it seems we’re presently paying for yesterday’s artificially created demand and prosperity. So much for the lies we told ourselves about the 1990s.

So what about paying tribute to the society that lets one achieve much? If this is our attitude, then we must ask if it makes sense for a society to provide the opportunity to achieve something only to demand its surrender upon attainment. this sets a horrific precedent in which everyone is subject to and owned by society and its whims; nobody owns themselves in such a system.

As you can see, there are more constructive alternatives to the moronic, short-sighted, and self-serving thought orthodoxies that animate this debate. rather than waste time with needless demonization or trying to assign blame where none is actually due, these debates should take a different direction, one where all things economic/financial aren’t based on force and coercion, but on voluntary association and respect for Negative Rights.

But to do this, first we must free our minds of the pre-approved talking heads and “opinionmakers” who get very wealthy promoting destructive discourse.

Is anybody else sick of hearing how Mitt Romney is a bad guy because he's rich?

I can't stand how some (Mike Huckabee *cough cough*) make Mitt Romney seem like an evil corporate bad guy just because he is rich. Mitt has worked incredibly hard and smart for his money! why is he being punished for being smart and successful?

I don't get it either. I'm a liberal and I'm sick of hearing it.

So what if your rich? Everyone seems to be forgetting that everyone from the Kennedy's to the Bush's were wealthy (and still are). why aren't we looking at the issues instead of everyone's socioeconomic status?

That's only half of 1-2 punch. it has no affect without the other half.

What can Romney point to as one of his core beliefs; one of the things that have provided the motivation for his entire political career?

I can believe he can have a change of heart about an issue or two. if he's had so many changes of heart that you can't identify who the real Romney is, he just looks like a rich guy buying an election to satisfy his own ego.

I haven't heard this. I would prefer it if he were punished for implying that an agnostic like me is at best a second class citizen and at worst an enemy of the state.

Lol. Mitt has worked hard? That's a good one. he did very little for MA where he was supposedly governor. he flip flops on position. he used really poor judgment with his dog and couldn't be a man and accept that he did. He's a jerk. he did nothing the last 2 years he was governor. he is a disgrace. I can't stand to listen to anything he says because I know that he's a liar. TG for Deval Patrick because he's been doing a lot for the people of MA. he is hard-working and smart. Mitt is not hard working nor is he smart.

yes its really annoying. stupid polititions will do anything to make the other look bad. its so retarded. who cares if he is rich? it doesnt mean anything.

Mit is a good guy,, just tried to buy and election, didn't work.
Mit is Mit's own worst enemy. he can't stay on message,
and worse he can't remember what he said last week to group a. and on a return engagement tells them something
else related to the same situation,, he will be gone before
super tuesday.

I have nothing against Romney's wealth; so far as I am aware, he came by it honestly. I have everything against his religious beliefs, which are prima facie evidence of a problem with intelligence.

Is anybody else sick of hearing how Mitt Romney is a bad guy because he's rich?

Kitchen Gadgets – Do We Need Them?

Do we really need six scrapers and ten meat mallets? no I do not think so. The manufactures of all the kitchen gadgets want your money and they usually get it from people who think they need every new gadget on the market. This is not so, and for you new cooks, just married, or just learning to cook I have set up some guidelines and tips for you. I hope this helps and saves you a bit of money.

Sitting on my counter I have two crocks which I purchased cheaply, no sense in paying an arm and a leg for them. Not only do your pretty kitchen gadgets look nice on top of the counter, they are very easy to retrieve when cooking. In one crock I have wooden spoons and wooden whisks. I have short handled ones and long handled ones. I use them constantly and they are cheap. You do not have to pay ten dollars for a wooden spoon. I use the wooden whisks a lot because they will not scratch the Teflon pans.

The other crock holds everything else needed to cook well. Whisks, a manual can opener, a pair of scissors, any kind will do. You will pay more for a pair of scissors if it says kitchen on it. I just buy regular everyday scissors, they work just fine. there are my soup ladles, both plastic and metal, slotted spoons, metal whisks and a few odds and ends. I do not put knives or forks in here because when you reach for a soup ladle it can poke you and that hurts. I always have a drawer close to the stove for my hand grater, pot holders, sharp knives; my trusty little knife sharpener, a melon baller, a non electric potato masher, etc.

I do not see a reason to have a specialized pastry brush when a new, clean paint brush works just as well or the meat mallet; I have always used a hammer and cover the meat with plastic wrap. I do not use measuring spoons and a cup, a teaspoon is a teaspoon; I use my one glass measuring cup for everything. And what is an egg separator? And a cake tester? use a toothpick for crying out loud. a coffee scoop is always in the coffee container. Of course you can equip your kitchen the way you want to, but to save a bit of money to start with, use common utensils, they always work and the prices are pretty cheap.
